I'm currently in a state of denial that Christmas is over already, it seemed to go in the blink of an eye. That being said, I don't think I've ever been more excited for a year than 2016. I'm hoping to move city/country/planet (lol) towards the later half of the year to start Uni after spending 4 years doing two different courses which, in the end, helped me figure out what career path to take. It's all a work in progress and nothing is definite yet, but 2016 will likely be home to a lot of changes.
For these reasons, I was really looking forward to celebrating the New Year so a party was in order this time round, as was my favourite winter lipstick ever - MAC 'Diva'. The miles I go for an outfit to perfectly match my lipstick is hilarious, not to mention a bit extreme. This

skirt was probably the only piece in my wardrobe that matched it to a T, so needless to say, it was an absolute must.
I purchased the beaded top from the
Topshop sale
last year and added a statement necklace with my favourite black knee high boots for the essential 'winter vibes'.
