By the middle of January, the icy weather is definitely a bit played out. I used to be a person who loved winter and all that came with it, but this year I can't wait for the better weather and brighter days - any bloggers will understand the frustration of having at most a two hour mid-day slot to take product/outfit photos due to the lack of sunlight.. there's no doubt that I'm ready to wave goodbye to winter.
Over the past week or two, the high street stores have been bringing in new spring pieces and I'm over the moon to finally see the lighter colours come, and the chunky knits go! It's like I've been anticipating the spring all throughout November/December, so once Christmas had passed I felt that it was finally acceptable to wear my pastel pink MK bag that hadn't seen much light over the past few months.
Of course I was absolutely freezing and had to add a white coat in the end.. which isn't the best option when you're going for a steak and red wine sauce, but at least it was an escape from the dark hues. My kimono is from last year's
